About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Team Leader, the Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing in line with quality and performance targets.
What You Will Do
- Operate machinery to meet defined production targets (output, OEE, scrap, downtime)
- Ensure machines are consistently operating at Run-to-Standard conditions
- Support achievement of shift targets by maintaining stable machine performance
- Monitor machine output and adjust operations within standard parameters
- Minimise downtime by responding to minor stoppages and escalating issues promptly
- Maintain consistent production flow to meet shift expectations
- Actively participate in CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication) activities as a core responsibility
Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience in similar role in Manufacturing Industry
- Basic mechanical or technical knowledge
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing / TPM practices
- Familiarity with autonomous maintenance (CIL)
- Candidates with trade certificate or certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply
